Conveyor capacity is continuous rather than batch-based, but the same rule applies: verify the specific belt width, bake time and product loading pattern instead of relying on a generic headline number.

The three numbers that matter

Belt width controls how many pizzas can travel side by side. Bake time controls how quickly they move through the chamber. Pizza diameter determines real loading density. Together they matter more than the word “conveyor.”

Where conveyors become attractive

Conveyors are especially compelling when the operation values repeatability, continuous loading and reduced timing decisions. They are common in high-delivery and high-throughput concepts.

Plan beyond nominal output

Leave room for product variation, spacing on the belt, recovery and rush bunching. If a model’s published maximum barely matches your peak requirement, it is probably too close to the edge.

Use a repeated-load demonstration

Do not judge a conveyor from a single pizza or an empty-belt speed. A useful test uses your normal diameter, topping load and bake target for several consecutive cycles. Watch whether finished pizzas arrive faster than the landing station can clear them.
